Alexander Technique is a fun and relaxed way to find new ways to do the things you do - play your instrument, sing, read, sit in a chair, work on a computer, go for a walk or a run, ride a bike…anything! The workshop will focus on fun exercises and games designed to help you understand your physical habits of posture and movement and explore moving beyond them. You will learn about your habits and how to begin changing them so that you can move more freely, without pain or tension, and more expressively.
Bring a yoga mat or a towel, a snack, and wear comfortable clothes (no skirts).
The workshop is geared towards high school age students and adults, but interested middle schoolers shouldn’t hesitate to sign up!
